May was a bit intense for us this year. Below are some highlights!

| I went to a wine tasting festival in Columbia, MD with Megan, Missy, Patricia, and Emily. (Missy, Meg and I are in the photo above.) I found my new favorite brand of wine - Boordy! |

| Lynn got a promotion at NASA, which inspired him to pose like this statue. |

| I thought this building in NYC had beautiful, modern architecture, so I asked my handsome husband to stand in front of it and put it to shame with his far superior beauty. |

| The weekend after we got back from NYC, I gave a presentation at the NCCWSL conference in College Park, MD entitled "Getting into Graduate School." About 70 undergraduates attended my workshop in a room suitable for 30. We made it work, though. When we women get together, we can make anything work. |

| The night after my workshop, we got together for our last outing with Katie and Jordan before they move to Chicago. We miss you guys already! |

And, last but not least, I took a picture of myself in these sunglasses. I do not have the best taste in sunglasses (just ask my mom). So...what do you think? Can I wear these in public? |
