Cookie Monster: The New Spokespuppet for Executive Function

On October 1, I started taking my first class in the "Mind, Brain and Teaching" certificate at Johns Hopkins University School of Education.  My focus is on the executive function part of the brain that deals with controlling your emotions and actions.

Soon I learned that Cookie Monster, the puppet who eats all of the cookies when left to his devices, has become the new spokespuppet for executive function.  I found this YouTube clip of his new song, "Me Want It (But Me Wait)."  I thought you'd enjoy it too!

  1. Briggsy,
When I saw your post this morning I wanted to click on the link immediately and see what it was all about
    But Me Wait
When I had waited long enough, I watched it. What fun.
Aunt Kathleen watched it too on her computer. She didn't wait for me to finish and tell her about it, she just jumped right in and watched hers before I finished mine.
I think we have something to talk about.
