The 21st Month: November 2016

Nova and Jack enjoyed a lunch together!  I asked them to say "cheese" and it totally worked!
When I told Nova she was going to see Jack, she said, "Jack. Hug." She loves her Jackie!

Despite chilly weather, Nova always asks to go outside.  She actually said, "die" which sounds a lot like "daddy."  So it takes some context to figure out what she's asking for.  :)

Hat time!  We've gotta wear hats to stay warm in chilly weather.

"Such long legs you have, my pretty."

Farmer's market

Lynn spent about 4 hours cleaning up the leaves from our yard.  Nova and I spent about 7 minutes destroying his work.  Har Har!

Helping at Target.

A stick and a cat!  What could be better?

Cat is stuck in a tree!  Call the fire department!

Helping mommy wash the tray after lunch.

"Stuck!" (Or, in Nova's words, "Guck!")

Swinging and trying to spit on mommy
.

A favorite treat for both my Wilsons: wild rice.  Must be those Northern Minnesota roots.

She also enjoys more exotic foods, like curried vegetables.

Nova and Jack went to the zoo on Black Friday.  Nova is a big bargain hunter, so it took some convincing.  But, knowing that she may get to see a panda bear sealed the deal.

Painting!  Or "Bleet!"

Lynn went on a work trip during November.  I honestly don't remember where he went. I want to say North?  Not sure.  Anyway, while he was gone, I thought, since I'm a good wife, I should do my best to torture him by sending adorable baby moments he's missing out on.  Here they are:

Since we have a child now, we are doing our best to "decorate for the holidays."  That's in quotes because our attempt is pretty lame (above)!  Nova started helping, but when Lynn offered to help, I soon realized that he is (currently) the more competent partner.  Probably just because he's so tall.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Nova's favorite words and their translation:
Bleeps - grapes
Bleet - paint
boo - balloon
beet - feet
hep/het - help
ha - hot
bight - light
guck - stuck
bee- baby
