Late To Publish: Nova Loves Springtime & Helping

I found this one, too! So it's out of order, but so good, I couldn't leave it in drafts.

As we near the end of this pregnancy, the Rolfsrud Wilsons have spent a lot of time outside and with friends.  Nova is beginning to get very serious about the baby.  A few times a day, she says, "Baby brother coming!"  She often pretends to be a baby bird/cat/monkey.  She fake cries, and then snuggles with me.

But, the photos below show her more adventurous side!

LOVE this photo!

Lynn is concerned that he's not getting enough attention, so he demanded I post this photo of his landscaping job.

My buddy, Katie (or, as Nova says, "Jack Mommy"), are due within 1.5 weeks of each other.  We tried to take this selfie-bump photo to memorialize our shared experience.

For two weeks at the end of April/beginning of May, daycare closed.  So, we engaged in a "baby exchange" with Nova's daycare buddy Nicholas.  This ended two weeks ago, but even today, when asked if she had a good day, she said, "Nicholas House!"

Looking at ants.

After daycare reopened, our provider put on a Mother's Day luncheon!  Nova loves her buddies, Nicholas and Charlie, and they are both wonderful to her.  Here, Nova is trying to smile....emphasis on trying.  ;)

Nova loves to help, and I'm trying to think of more ways in which she can participate.  I dared to give her the banana bread batter and let her put it in the muffin tins.  She did remarkably well!  And the muffins turned out great.

Riding a horsie at Coralie's house!

Speaking of giving her more freedom, I let her climb around in my car for about 20 minutes (with my supervision, of course).  She loves the scrapers....?

She also loves swimming!  She's wearing a beautiful hat and purse that her Grandma Anita made for her.  She loves them.

Beautiful girl picking beautiful flowers.

Nova update:
Most of the time Nova sees an umbrella, she says "rainbow."
The other day, she climbed into a box, one foot after another and said, "One poot, two poots!"
Because Lynn and I say "This is yours" Nova has added an "s" to mine, as in, "This mines."
She knows that "come" is "came in the past tense.  She even corrected Lynn on May 10 (yes, I wrote down the date of this fabulous, and not-so-uncommon occurrence!)
