Lynx Turns 2!

We have had such a great time these past few months!

Topless Storytime

Grancy visits!

Gifts from Grancy!

This one is a bit blurry, but he's so genuinely happy!  We had just found his favorite Orange Truck which is tiny and gets lost all the time!

Why take off pjs when you can just slip the shoes on over them?

Nova gets a little volleyball lesson from Georgette!

Ballet.  Nova LOVES ballet.

These poses were completed prior to taking any lessons.  She's making them up and she is SO ADORABLE.

My little burrito!

Nova's last day of preschool in the 3s class!

Her wonderful teachers!

Now that preschool is done, I've been teaching in my outdoor Tinkergarten class!  Lynx is enjoying mud as my star pupil at Tinkergarten!

A turtle friend visits.

We went to the aquarium for Lynx's birthday.

This jump was successful, but he slipped on the next one and did a belly flop!  Poor guy.  That was the last jump he tried for the rest of the day.

Finally! A real ballet class!

Planting flowers.

Playing at our neighbors', including little Eva!

So strong.

Lynx talked about this day throwing stones into the pond with Grayson for weeks afterward.

Heart attack in the making.

He LOVES this scooter that Gary and Lynn bought him!!  He's pretty fast too.

A.Dor.A.Ble!

Another Tinkergarten class

I got a new haircut!

Lynx is climbing to new heights as a 2 year old!

Lynx Stats:
29 lb, 7 oz
35.5 inches tall

Lynx said,"Katie no take orange truck own home."  My friend Katie agreed!  She would not take it! ;)

He says "dig, dig, dig!" in rapid succession when excited.

Lynx kept grunting, so we asked what he was and he said, "rhino."

Nova Notes:
Our friend Susan gave us some hand-me-downs.  Upon putting a shirt on, Nova said, "These clothes smell like Susan!  Susan gave us her smell!"

We were reading a book about snakes and I said maybe she could be a herpetologist, expert on snakes.  She said, angrily, "No, Mom.  You told me that only I could decide what I'll be when I grow up.  Remember that?" I said, "oh for sure.  but can I make suggestions." She said, "no."
