Lynx turned 4!

Lynx's birthday was the day after I returned from my trip to Minnesota to attend Kris's funeral. So it was pretty low key. He was at camp, so they celebrated at camp (I made a mad dash to the grocery store to quick pick up some cupcakes!) Enjoy this video of us singing Happy Birthday to Lynx.

He had wanted a Superman cake for months - ever since Nova's birthday in February. He talked about it every other day. Then, we got to the grocery store. He saw the Superman cake and the Darth cake and made a last-minute change. He was thrilled.

Our neighbors brought over a gift and a volcano erupted in our backyard while they were over, so maybe this can count as his birthday party?

But, then, on June 20, we took them to the Philadelphia zoo to see the dinosaurs and other animals. It was hot but the kids had a great time.
Dinosaurs!

One of my fifth grade teachers had this very elaborate story about wooly mammoths that I remember to this day. So I took a photo with the wooly mammoth.

T-Rex!

Cuties.
