For the record, my Mac has made uploading pictures from my phone to my computer nearly impossible. So I've been procrastinating making these posts because it's been such a pain! I've now gotten them downloaded into a photo library separate from the usual library, but I can't pull the photos (or videos) into this blog. So this is just a written blog post, for now.
July was a big swim month for our kids. Lynx won for the county at both the Coaches's Long Course meet and the All-Star (short course) meet. He won by 3 seconds in the Coaches' Long course and got himself a Zones cut!! PLAYLIST OF LYNX'S HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE SEASON
And, Lynx's medley 8U relay team won the county's record (again!) They beat their record from last year by a few seconds...which is a lot in a short-course 100 race.
Nova won the high-point scorer award for the girls at Stonegate. Which means she won the most points out of all of the girls on her team. This is really tough to do as Stonegate is stacked with incredible swimmers!
Sadly, her coach, Brian, did the math wrong and gave the trophy to another girl. He apologized to me, to Nova and then gave her a trophy later at the All-Stars meet.
