I finished my first half marathon today!

| This January, I sprained my ankle pretty badly so I was worried about today's race. |

| However, with the support of our friends Katie and Jordan, I recovered from my injury and was excited about the race! See all of the smiling faces....BEFORE the race. |

| This picture was taken with only a mile left to go. Lynn couldn't quite get the camera to cooperate in time, but got me running away from him. |

| My shirt prompted about 10 people to shout, "Go Briggs!" |

| After the race, we all went to brunch at Turnicliff's in Eastern Market, DC. Lynn is obviously sad that he decided not to run with us. |

| Oh, now he's happy. The food must have arrived. |
On to our next adventure....marriage!
Congrats! You rock! And holy cow, that was a heck of a strain. Hopefully your next adventure won't require so much training!
