Honeymoon (from Briggs' perspective)

Lynn and I took many pictures.  Or, rather, I took about 40 pictures and he took 800.  Below are the pictures and videos that made the cut from my perspective.  We will post Lynn's later.

QUEENSTOWN

The first place at which I took photos was Queenstown, New Zealand.  A city of about 20,00 people, most of whom live there because they love kayaking, hiking and extreme sports like bungy jumping.

Queenstown agrees with Lynn.

We went white water rafting on Shotover River, near Queenstown.  We had a crazy American leader who was hilarious, if unprofessional.  But, we survived and have a pic to prove it.

We wanted to take a picture of the Lake Wakatipu, but because it was so sunny, they turned out pretty goofy.

NORTH ISLAND
I'm not the most responsible with my phone, so while it was not charged for several days, Lynn took all of the pictures.  After a few days, I was back on track!  Here are some pictures of us on the North Island.

We visited the Waitomo Glow Worm Caves on the North Island.  In these caves, there are thousands of little glow worms that light up the top of the caves.  The light is meant to attract their prey, which gets ensnares in their webs.  We couldn't take pictures in the caves, only afterwards.

Our last stop!  Auckland.  This is the view from our hotel, SkyCity Grand Hotel.

Also in Auckland, we went to dinner at the needle.  One of the waiters was nice enough to take these pictures of us.  Because this was our last night in New Zealand, these smiles are definitely fake!  We wanted to stay forever.  :)

  1. It looks like such a beautiful country! But, don't even think about moving there! You're already too far away. :)

Seriously, I can't imagine a more fitting honeymoon for you two. Now, just sit back and enjoy married life.
