Wedding Day

We checked in around 11 am.  We stayed at the Bellagio on the Strip.  This is the view of the fountains from our hotel room.

The Bellagio supplied us with champaign and strawberries for our big day.  We indulged!

 Just prior to the ceremony, Lynn donned some beautiful Elvis glasses.  Our chapel was named Viva Las Vegas, so it was only appropriate.  Should he have worn them during the ceremony?  The verdict is still out on that.

The ceremony went off without a hitch (except that we got hitched).  

 Our first kiss as a married couple!  So sweet.  (Thanks, Uncle Stan, for providing these pictures!)

 The bouquet provided to me was beautiful.  I was so pleased.

After you get married, don't you just have a hankering to ride on a roller coaster?  We sure did.  We asked the limo driver to drop us off at the New York, New York hotel so we could enjoy the 'ups and downs' of marriage right away.

After the roller coaster ride, we were pretty hungry.  We had made reservations at Bellagio's Picasso restaurant. A three course meal was provided for us while we sat on the deck overlooking the Bellagio fountains.  Amazing.

The photo on the left is a little dark, but it does show the view we had from our seats at the Picasso.  The photo on the right shows the plate with our dessert plate, on which the chef had written "Congratulations."  Someone on the staff must have figured out that we had just gotten married.  (Perhaps it was our attire that gave us away.)

After dinner, we enjoyed some cake I had ordered as a surprise for Lynn.  Then we hit the town....until about 10 pm.  We were exhausted.  This is the last picture from the day.  

Thanks again everyone for your support of our new lives together!  Our wedding day was excellent.  Now, on to the honeymoon!
