20 Weeks

At 20 weeks, I'm officially halfway done with my pregnancy. Wahoo!

To celebrate this momentous occasion, my parents sent me the pony I've been asking for since I was in my mid-20s.  (Most girls want a pony when they are little, but I'm a late bloomer.)  They finally came through! Just look at my beautiful pony!

As part of my new maternal instincts, I've started to try to cook a bit more.  Above is my newest attempt:  A swiss cheese and spinach quiche.  It even tastes good.

And, my 20 week bump.  This past week, there were about 5-6 days where I didn't feel any kicking.  I started to worry so I called the doctor.  They told me to come in first thing the next day.  Luckily, within about 30 minutes of hanging up, the baby started kicking up a storm.  It was such a relief.  I called and cancelled my appointment.

Lynn and I go in for our "anatomy" ultrasound this Friday, October 17.  Hopefully all is well in there.  Regarding the gender question, I cannot decide which I prefer!  It's probably best that way - I'll be happy and surprised regardless.

  2. You are becoming so domesticated. :)
You look beautiful and the baby does too (I'm assuming). Can't wait to hear if it's a boy or girl. We'll be thrilled with either...but think it's a girl.
