Week 5 - March 29-April 4 - Ford, Jenn and Kaia Visit!

Welcome to Week 5 of Nova's blog!
On Saturday, March 28, Anuj and Kinnari visited.  We had a great time, and as you can see, Nova did, too.

The next day, the Murman Rolfsruds visited!  They stayed a full four days, all of which were awesome.

Nova and Ford were speaking in hushed tones, probably telling secrets.  It looks like Nova then wanted to pinkie swear that Ford won't tell  soul!

Little Kaia wanted to hold Nova first, and she did!  What a great smile, Kaia.  (Nova - we need to work on your cues...)

Nova kept trying to talk, so we couldn't get a good photo.   We opted to give her the binkie and she was content!  Jenn was content just being with Nova.

The Murman Rolfsruds, all hanging out with Nova!  She's one lucky girl.  Thanks for visiting! We miss you already.

Lynn asked me to come over and talk with him.  I acquiesced.  He told me that he's very jealous of all of the pictures I take of Nova.  This is his pouty face.  "Couldn't there be more of me?" he asked.
I answered, "No."

After her bath, Nova was attacked by this green alligator! Oh no!

For our walk, we wanted to make sure Nova was warm enough.  And...drunk enough?

Obviously the girl can't roll over yet, but she got pretty far here!  No positioning was done in the making of this photo.

It may be hard to believe, but sometimes SOMETIMES, Nova cries.

Here is evidence that Nova eats with her legs up in the air.  Every. Single. Time.

Blurry Smiles!

And cute toes!

There were too many good Week 5 photos from which to choose...so I decided not to.

This is her Easter outfit!

Happy Easter!

Week 5 stats:
Nova grabbed her feet with her hands.  Briefly....but still.
I took her in the carrier again this week and she hiccuped.  It felt just like when I was pregnant with her.  Very, very cool.
When the wind blows in her face, Nova sticks out her tongue like a cute puppy.
She is starting to follow us with her eyes if we move while in her line of vision.

  1. Loved the pictures! Tell Lynn to get used to his diminished status. :) how is it possible she looks so much bugger and alert since we left? Stop growing up!

The 5 week pictures are great! She's definitely a smiley kid. Why wouldn't she be with a mom like you. Lucky lady. His and kisses to Novi. :)
