Week 6 - April 5-11 - Ty Visits!

This Blog is for....Nova....mostly because her parents are otherwise completely uninteresting.

Nova and I have been more active this week!

She gets all snuggled in, just like when she was in the womb.  Zzzzzzzzzz!

This coat was made for mothers who "wear" their babies.  I look pretty stylish, right?

Speaking of style, it's always fashionable to be an attentive father.  Exhibit A, above.

It was Granma Nancee's birthday on April 7!  Happe Brthdae!!

After all of that birthday excitement, Nova had to take a nap.

More adorable napping....

 Then, she's awake!

But not for long.

I want to remember those wonderful times when she naps on me, so I thought perhaps a photo will help.  So cute.

Checking out the traffic on Colesville Road.

Dancing in her ridiculously large reusable diapers.

Ty visited again!  And bravely held our little girl, despite her beautiful suit.  Luckily, no spit up found its way to those threads!

I bought this outfit in Newborn and 3 months.  This is the Newborn version...and she's already too big for it.  Sigh.  I took the picture to capture her in them before I have to give them away.

Lynn's dad, Lynn Jr, and stepmom Anita sent a box full of wonderful gifts.  Here is Nova, showing them all off.  Such great gifts!  You'll see her using them in pictures randomly throughout the rest of the blog
.

For example, here she is enjoying her new Boppy from Grandma Anita!

Not to be outdone, my mom sent a box of wonderful gifts as well!  This dress is precious.  More to come.

Week 6 update:
She's started to go from 0-60 in 5 seconds (in terms of screaming).  It sounds like someone is twisting her leg, but she is totally fine!
She can follow me with her eyes.  They lag behind a bit, but she catches up and looks right at me.
She kicks vigorously with only her leg left!

  1. You had me giggling at the very first sentence. I beg to differ though. You are quite interesting sans child. Man! She is one lucky and loved little girl. She is getting so expressive. It's great! You look so happy too! I demand more images of you and Lynn. :) Us chopped livers have to stay together. ;) She's amazing. I love her. I can't wait to see her again in a couple of months!
