Week 13 (3 months!)- May 24-30

Yes, this blog post starts with a photo of a pair of shorts.

Dad and I went to Dick's Sporting Goods when I was in 8th grade.  While there, we spotted the shorts above - for $6.  So, in the typical Sonstegard/Rolfsrud style, we bought many pairs.  I've worn them almost exclusively for every tennis practice, basketball scrimmage, cross country run, and triathlon training session for the past 20 years.  Yes, 20 years!
Sadly, on May 27, the first of these shorts resigned.  It is so tattered that I can no longer wear it.
It was a sad day.  Rest in peace, dear shorts.  Rest in peace.

And now, on the to main event!  NOVA!
Try as we may, I fear Nova will never have the afro that Kaia once had.  Mohawk, maybe.  But fro?....no.

Nova loves hanging out in her Bumbo!

She also loves to eat my hair.  What a crazy new development.  Perhaps I should shave it all off?

Oh, the toes.  They are too big for her feet, so they overlap each other.  Growing pains?

A photo of Nova hanging out with Mommy.....

.....and a video of Nova hanging out with Mommy.  This video is exceptionally dull.  But I wanted to capture some of our time together.  I love holding her and watching her learn more about her world.

Nova is 13 weeks and uber-expressive!

Nova Stats at 13 weeks:
Nova continues to try to roll over.  See this cute attempt I captured on video.  :)

  1. Is that the last pair? Or could we patch a couple of pairs together and save $6.00 more? Love, Grandpa Skinflint Steve
