Lynn's dad visited this week, and much shenanigans followed.
But first, we must be educated! Lynn is showing Nova cool photos of nebulas and novas and science. She is not amused. I know the feeling, kid. |
Nova is in a Lynn sandwich! |
She needed reassurance. The Lynns told her, "Though you are not a Lynn, we like sitting with you." Phew! |
After a feeding, Nova sports her bib for many hours. This is due to projectile spit up landing on Grandpa over and over....and over. Poor guy. Luckily, he wasn't phased. |
This is one of the best photos of little Nova. So happy with grandpa! |
Wait, maybe THIS is the best photo of Nova. It's so hard to choose. |
While the Lynns were away, visiting NASA, Nova and I learned that my buddy (since 5th grade) Ty got engaged to her boyfriend Donnie! Congrats from both of us! |
The Lynns couldn't help themselves and bought this NASA onesie from NASA. Doesn't it look like Nova is about to take off? "To infinity, and beyond!" |
Oooooh, traveling to infinity is tiring! Even Novers needs a nap every now and again. And, Lynn ALWAYS needs a nap. Less cranky that way.
More napping for Nova. Notice how I am not napping? No need. I am never cranky. |
It was surprisingly chilly in DC in May, so Nova got to wear a Kendall Original during one of our walks. (Thanks to Kendall's mom, Corinne, for all of her great stuff!) |
Though I underachieve in many aspects of my life, milk production is an area in which I overachieve. I have over 500 oz in the freezer. Little Nova is set for life! |
I'm surprised she can hold her head up with such a huge (but beautiful!) flower. |
"Who said I wasn't chunky....?!" |
"....And irrepressibly happy?" |
I tried to let Nova sleep on her stomach during a supervised nap time. This failed at first. |
I eventually moved her head so she could breathe. Then it worked! |
What did not work? Me trying to find a bad photo of Nova. Not possible! |
Nova Stats at Week 12:
She continues to sit in her Bumbo but for longer stints of time. She loves watching me fold laundry from there.
She squeezes her lips together to make a spitting sound. Much like a Zerbert! She can do this with her tongue, too, which will come in handy when some boy tries to catch her and cannot!
She held her bottle! She's starting to figure out that her hands can do many things. She placed them just right so I could let go for about 5 seconds. Very cool.
You're hilarious, Briggs. :) Nice updates.
