Week 11 - May 10-16

Welcome to Week 11!

My mom sent me a bunch of photos from when I was a baby.  I spent about 20 minutes with Nova, trying to get a similar facial expression from her!  Below is a comparison.  

Here's me, at 9 weeks old.

It's been a while since I posted a sleeping picture of our little love.  So peaceful.  Looking at this photo makes me want to take a nap.  Then again, I always want to take a nap. 

 Novita wants to look around when I carry her.  So I figured out how to carry her.  So adorable!

 Nova's skill at grabbing stuff is improving daily!  Here she's finally taking responsibility for herself by carrying around some of her belongings.

Here she's realizing that her most important possession is her mommy.  Don't let go!

She may be too young for this Bumbo seat, but she tolerates it for 5-10 minutes, and I think it's good for her to strengthen her neck muscles.  Such a strong girl!

Our little girl is almost 3 months old!  

Nova stats:

Nova reaches for and grabs more often and with more aptitude.

She has been lifting her left arm straight in front of her and staring at it for long amounts of time.  I think she's strengthening her arms, and getting a better sense of depth by staring at it.
