Week 10 - May 3-9 - Julia and Sophia Visit!

I had wonderful visitors again this week!  My pals Julia and Sophia visited from Boston.  Nova loved them both!

We went to the Inner Harbor in Baltimore and saw the National Guard protecting the area.  Surreal.

Snuggles with Sophia!

Snuggles with Julia!
More snuggles with Julia!

 Thanks for visiting guys!

So precious in this little outfit a-la Nancy.

Nova made some new friends at baby yoga!  Next to her is Adela and Ashwin.

And the rest of her yogi pals!

After yoga, we enjoyed our first time eating out together. One tuna sandwich and zero meltdowns - a success.

Post bathtime cuteness.

Cute outfit!  Wonderful furry friend!

Something new this week: Nova now grabs things with both hands and puts them in her mouth.  That's some pretty good hand-eye coordination.  A precursor to her promising tennis career.

We went out to eat with Lynn's buddy Drew and a new friend, Nicki.  Nicki is having a baby in June!  We had a great time, but Nova lost it a few times.  She was overly tired.  But still adorable.

It's like she knows how cute she is!

We went to her 2 week appointment on May 4.  Her updated stats are:
1. Height: 23 inches long (64th percentile)
2. Head Circumference: 38 centimeters (33rd percentile)
3. Weight: 10 lb 11 oz (25th percentile)
4. BMI: 14.2
Also...
Her talking has gotten louder and more varied. Her laughing too!
If I get close enough, she likes to hit me in the mouth and then I kiss her fingers.
She clutches us when we hold her up by the shoulder.
On Friday night, she slept from 7:30 pm-7:40 am!  You'd think I would have slept, too, but I woke up at 2 am and kept waiting for her to wake up....until 5 am!  Darn it!

  1. What a beauty! She's getting so alert. I would say that pretty soon she'll have you wrapped around her fingers, but it looks like she already does. :) I love the first picture of her wrapped in the pink blanket, such a sweet, mischievous little smile. Now, tell her to stop growing for a few weeks. Can't wait to see you all!
