Week 29 - September 13-19 - 6 month Stats & Sleep Training

Nova has been forced to endure sleep training this week, which resulted in more sleep, but also more crying....I wish there were an easier way to encourage the baby to sleep through the night.  We tried a few techniques, but in the end, put her down in a drowsy state and let her cry for 10 minutes.  After 10 minutes, we went in to soothe her, find her pacifier, and then leave.  Repeat.

Here she can be seen, angry at me, trying to fall asleep on her own.  Poor girl.

While Nova is angry during the evening, she's very happy during the day because she gets to hang out with Kinnari!  I am equally as happy.  She's a wonderful friend.

I got them both to smile at the same time! #skills

Nova continues exploring the world while crawling.
Enjoy this video to see how much she's progressed since just last week!

Also, she's been growing like crazy!  When Karyn visited back in March, I put Nova in this same onesie...which did not fit.  Now, it's the perfect size.  And, just in time for the cooler fall weather.

As Sophia said, "She's a clear admit! Harvard, class of 2036!"

But, before you can get into Harvard, you need to to some reading.

Nova STATS:
We took Nova to the pediatrician this week.  She is:
17 lb and 2 oz, which is in the 55th percentile
26 inches long, which is in the 45th percentile
