Nova has teeth!
On Friday, during yoga class, Nova bit on my hand and I noticed two little teeth in there. Such a big girl! Since then, she's been sticking out her tongue so she can feel these new arrivals. Why is there no Tooth Fairy for baby teeth? I wish a fairy would visit us in the night, and leave behind treats for the parents who had to endure all of the crying (and biting) associated with teething. |
Sleep training continues! Now that she's putting herself to sleep, she's putting herself into the funniest positions! Sleeping face first make us all nervous, but it's pretty cute. |
Goofy, right? |
Solid eating continues! Nova sometimes shies away from the food, and it lands on her nose. Her nose doesn't appreciate it! |
Standing and talking continue as well!
And, Novers continues to love her daddy. |
Snuggle time! |
On Thursday, September 24, St. Kate's gave me two tickets to see the Pope speak at the Capitol. I was inspired by his quiet kindness, dedication to increased dialogue, and compassion for all. |
You can't see him in this photo, but he's outside the Capitol in this shot. It was cool to see him in person, even if it was so far away. |
Twinsies!
Nova LOVED Katie when she came to visit! She watched her and wanted to sit with her. She seemed to love her almost as much as I do! |
Nova STATS:
Two teeth!
One night this week, after we put her to bed, Nova crawled around without crying, in an attempt to put herself to sleep. So...progress in sleep training.
Nova continues to crawl, and climb and stand. She's very active and curious.
Nice pictures. Sorry, no tooth fairy for the parents, just satisfaction at the progress of your little bambino (my limited Spanish in honor of Francis' visit). Grandpa Steve and Grandma Nancy
