Pregnancy Update: 27 weeks

February 25 - 25 weeks pregnant

March 11 - 27 weeks pregnant

Well, next week I'll be in my third trimester!  It has gone sooo fast this time. Though obviously that's partly because I'm busy with Nova, I think the feeling has been exaggerated because I've been sick so much these last six weeks.  I was dizzy and had heart palpitations on January 28 and thereafter, then the head cold consumed the next week, followed by a few (mild but annoying) bouts with stomach flu.  Today (Ford's Birthday!) is one of the first days I've felt good in the last six weeks.  Thanks for the good vibes, Ford!

Regarding my heart palpitation situation, I am still in the middle of a series of tests.  I had a consultation on February 14.  They ordered a heart sonogram/echo on February 24.  And, just yesterday I mailed back the event monitor I had to wear all last week.  I have my (hopefully) final follow-up on March 28.  I'll let you know what they say.  

But, all of that being said, the doctors think it is almost certainly no big deal and are only putting me through the tests because I'm pregnant.  So, I'm not worried (knock on wood)!  

Baby Lynx: I had my 24 week appointment on Feb. 21 and everything is going well!  His heart rate was 155 and he flipped while we did the test (as is tradition).  He is very busy in there!  The boy rarely stops moving.  Nova was active in the evenings, but Lynx jumps and flips and punches me throughout the day.  I love it.
