I love Williamsburg. We've gone several times. It's not really a great place for young kids, but I thought...I don't need to overwhelm them with crazy vacations. A calmer vacation where we walk around, they play, we see some new sights, will do just fine.
And it did! The kids had a great time, and had a couple of tantrums when we had to go. Exactly what we were hoping for.

DAY 1: We went to Virginia Beach to enjoy the ocean. The kids had SOOO much fun. Nova could have stayed for days, but Lynx was ready to go by around 2 pm (maybe 4 hours in!). So, we need to go back to the ocean someday.

A little post-ocean ice cream! |

There's a Governor's Palace at Williamsburg. Lynx really wanted to tour it. He loves castles. I think he expected more, but I thought it was pretty cool

The kids had to share a bed, and it worked out...for the most part. The first night was tough - Lynx woke up several times crying. But, the next few nights were pretty smooth. We eventually used the bumper you see on the far right side to separate them, since otherwise....well, you see it. |

The musicians! |

Waiting for the musicians to begin! The kids really liked the musicians!

I took a Ghost Tour one evening while Lynn stayed in the hotel with the kids. I love these tours! |

Upside down Nova! |

We saw a sheep up close |

The kids loved the pool and are becoming really good swimmers! |
