These past two weekends, the Rolfsrud-Wilsons traveled back in time to the American Revolution. We visited
Mount Vernon, George Washington's home, and
Colonial Williamsburg, the largest museum in the country.

| Mt. Vernon on a beautiful fall day. |
| This is the view that George Washington woke up to when he was not traveling |
| A ferry ride across the Potomac. |
| Whenever Lynn takes a picture of us together, he makes me crack up. So, here I am, trying to smile like a lady, and instead I look like a hooligan. |
| More hooliganism. |
| I thought this path was beautiful. It led from the apple roasting area back to the horse-drawn carriage ride field. |
| We enjoyed a 3 minute carriage ride. |
| Nay! |
| Here is the Washington tomb. It was reconstructed about 30 years after his death in 1799. |
Looks like fun. Keep the blogs coming. Love, Dad
