Homework and Bachelorette Round 3

I am taking classes in the Mind, Brain and Teaching Certificate at Johns Hopkins.

This weekend I started my final project, which is building a unit on a subject of our choice while using the tenets of the material we learned in class. There is a strong emphasis on connecting learning to previous, personal experience. So, to drive home the concept of culture, I asked Lynn to make a concept map of the things that are important to him.

I think he added me in just to butter me up.  Well, it worked!

Then, we hung it up and pretended to engage in a "Gallery Walk" where the students view each other's work.  Look how thoughtful I am!

After the Gallery Walk, I took Katie out for her third (yes, third!) bachelorette party.  This one only included two great women - me and her.  First, we went on a Chocolate Walking Tour.

Katie is so happy! Chocolate!

I am happy too!

We then grab dinner at Busboys and Poets, followed by a long evening of talking at the Philanthropub.

The happiness seems to dwindle as Katie perhaps realizes she doesn't love sour lemons?....

....followed by an intimidating glance at her massive biceps.  I would not want to confront her in a dark alley.
