This past weekend, I went out with girlfriends. Lynn participated in his favorite activity: playing video games while watching Steven Seagal in the background. He was happy, I was happy and Mr. Seagal beat the bad guys once again.

| I was obviously quite confident about my cooking skills, but in the end, we were the only group who had to start over.....twice. |

| As they say, "third time's a charm." Having finally caramelized our onions, we were able to enjoy a delicious meal together! |

| Then, this morning I let someone else do my cooking. I met up with Amanda and Katie for brunch at this cute little bistro in the Adams Morgan neighborhood of DC. Afterward, we went shopping for vinyl records and Amanda scored some great records! |
