Week 8 - April 19-25

Nova is finally starting to fit into some of cute outfits friends have bought for her.  Here are her modeling skills.  Pretty good!

Kristin got this for her - love the matching hat and blanket too!

Jenn got this cute panda outfit.  Kousin Kaia had the same one!

Here I'm trying to chronicle the stork bite Nova has on the nape of her neck.

A little head holding, and lot of junk in the background.  Come on, Mom!  Keep it tidier!

My mom demands that we listen to classical music to help Nova's cognitive development.  Since Chopin first graced Nova's ears, she's been unstoppable!  Look at these dancing moves!

"Oh ya!"

"Who's with me!?"

Happy Earth Day!  (This is a Kousin Kaia hand-me-down.  A little big, but Kaia was a month older when she celebrated her first Earth Day. Click here for a comparison!)

"Why are you putting me in so many new outfits? I just want to take a nap!"

"Oh, sure, make me hang out on my stomach just so you can show off the ruffles!"

And, here, a million 8 week photos because she's so adorable.  I don't want to deprive my viewers of her many cute faces and poses.

I wanted to chronicle how small she is in her crib.  In a few years, when she can climb out of it, we'll look back and remember the good ol' days when we could entertain her with a hangy thingy.

Week 8 stats:
Nova has a few stuffed animals that hang over her on the changing table.  She can sit, looking and batting at them, for 20-30 minutes at a time.
She loves watching me fold laundry.  Maybe someday she'll love to help me fold laundry.
She's finally noticed herself in the mirror.  I think she's pleased by how cute she is!

  2. She is getting so alert! Her little faces are precious. I can't believe how big she's gotten in just a month. Wait?! It's already been a month. This has got to stop! ;)

You guys are obviously doing a wonderful job! I do think we need more Lynn and Briggs on this blog too. We want to see the chopped liver every once in a while, you know. :)

  3. Who needs a royal princess in the UK when you've got this little cutie-face?!?!?!?
