The Dog Days of Summer. Nova and I are having a blast!
I went on Facebook to crowdsource the answer to a problem I was having. See, Nova could just about sit up in the chair we were using in the tub. While I'm proud of her strength, I was worried she was going to go head first into some water one of these days. |
So it was suggested that I use a laundry basket or a crate. The next day, I went to Target, purchased this beauty for $2.49 and the rest is history. |
On Thursday night, after a long week at work, I was greeted with a double rainbow! Not a bad way to start my three day weekend with our Little Dragon. |
While I was excited for the weekend, li'l Nova needed a nap. I love how she crosses her legs here. It reminds me of our puppy, B.B., who used to cross her paws when she napped. |
More adorable sleeping. The arms above the head are a leftover move from being comfy in the womb. |
After some naps, we hit the playground....to nap on the swing! hahaha.... |
Just kidding. See? She's awake. Just eating the rubbery, delicious swing. |
Delicious meals are always better when shared with a buddy. Little Jack enjoyed swinging as well! |
I'm trying to do more cooking, so I put Nova in her little seat to join me in the kitchen. She was delightful, as usual. |
More cuteness while I cook. |
Freedom??.... |
...Nope. |
Nova is 25 weeks and needs to sneeze!
Nova STATS:
Nova is not fond of being on her tummy, but she loves to sit and try to stand.
Since early August, we've been feeding her "solids" once a week. She has gotten good at initiating opening her mouth, ready for the "airplane!" Hah! Soon we'll get serious about the whole solids thing, just not yet.
Her sleep continues about the same. She wakes up either twice at 1 and 4 am, or just once at 3 am.
She continues to kick with both legs together, launching her little rump into the air on the extension. Perhaps she'll be a gymnast!
