Week 51! Next week, Nova will be a year old. WOW....
Nova went out to lunch with me, Jasprett and Suresh. During the lunch, she scouted the outdoors while modeling this lovely coat that Jodi gave us. Thanks Jodi! |
Nova's first valentine! My coworker, Jen, has a son who is a year older than Nova. He was so kind as to give her this thoughtful valentine! |
Katie and Jack came over to our place this week. We realized that as they age, we will need to focus more on them, and be less free to discuss whatever we please. Ahhh....time flies. |
It's also getting increasingly more difficult to get a good photo of the two of them. They are so busy. |
On Saturday, we went to Olney. Olney is the nearest city center to us, even though we technically live in Silver Spring. It was a cute little town, replete with parks and great adventures for Nova to have in her new umbrella stroller. |
"The grass in Olney is exceptional! I could play here all day." |
"Bleh! Why would I read when I could play on my horsie!"
Nova also got to enjoy watching about 2 minutes of Star Trek with daddy.

Nova STATS:
I noticed something unique about Nova this week. A few times over the year I've accidentally woken her up when I go in to check on her. Instead of crying, she crawls over to me quietly, stands up, and puts her arms out for me to hold her. I love it....though I promise I don't purposely wake her just so I can enjoy this wonderful moment.
Looks good from AZ. Love, Grandpa Steve
ReplyDeleteHer ponytail is so cute! She's so very blonde! Don't worry, soon enough you and your friend will be able to focus on conversations again. All you'll hear is Taylor Swift and giggles booming from behind closed doors. :) Yes, time flies. Enjoy!
